This refreshing melon and matcha smoothie is a blessing for the body, mind, and taste buds.

Honeydew is juicy and sweet and pairs beautifully with coconut.  And the matcha & chlorella powder turn this refreshing green treat into a true superfood sensation!

Matcha is made by grinding high quality nutrient-rich green tea leaves into a fine powder.  It is absolutely loaded with inflammation and disease-fighting compounds including the subgroup of antioxidants called catechins.  One particular catechin, EGCg, is widely recognized for its anti-cancer properties.  Matcha is also used to induce a sense of calm while simultaneously boosting energy, concentration, memory and metabolism!

For 2 servings, blend together until smooth:

  • 2 cups diced honeydew melon

  • 1/2 cup canned organic coconut milk and/or 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut water

  • 1 to 2 tsp high-grade matcha powder

  • 1/2 tsp chlorella powder (optional)

  • optional 2 Tbsp Nuzest Clean Lean vanilla or natural protein powder

  • optional Lakanto monkfruit sweetener, pure stevia, or raw honey (nonvegan), adjusted to taste

Garnish with fresh mint and serve.
