"NUTELLA" OVERNIGHT OATS

Ok, here’s another recipe for all you Nutella lovers out there.  Seriously — we're talking #healthyfoodporn at its FINEST.  These overnight oats are thick, creamy, and decadent with that wonderful rich hazelnut & chocolate flavour.  But they are also free of refined sugar and packed with fibre, protein, and healthy fats, too!

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 1/3 cups rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 1/4 cup hazelnut flour (or finely ground hazelnuts)

  • 1/4 cup chopped raw hazelnuts

  • 3 to 4 Tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 2 cups unsweetened hazelnut or almond milk

  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup or stevia to taste

  • 1 to 2 Tbsp MCT oil (optional)

  • optional toppings: fresh berries, cacao nibs, and/or additional hazelnuts for crunch

Directions:

  1. Put all of the ingredients except toppings in a bowl or divide among single-serving mason jar(s) and stir well to combine.

  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  3. In the morning, stir and add additional nondairy milk as needed for desired consistency.

Nutella Overnight Oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.  Serve warm or cold with your favourite toppings.  Enjoy!
